MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD NOVEMBER 22, 1993 <br />(#10) TAX FORFEIT PROPERTIES - RESOLUTION NO. 3363 - CONT. <br />Ilurr noted there is a 90 day time limit with approximately 60 days left to respond to the <br />County. <br />A motion was made by Jabbour, seconded by Goeitei., to approve Resolution No. 3363 <br />requesting conveyance of tax forfeit lands. P. I. D. 36-118-23 11 0002, for the purpose of <br />public road and utility. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />(•#11) DAVID NELSON, CSO, RESIGNATION <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Goetten, to accept the resignation of David Nelson, <br />effective November 9, 1993. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />(#12) DELINQUENT UTILITY ACCOUNTS - RESOLUTION NO. 3364 <br />Hurr inquired how some of these delinquents have gotten over $1,000 it they are done each <br />year. City Administrator Moorse responded he would check into this further. <br />A motion was made by Callahan, seconded by Jabbour. to adopt Resolution No. 3364 providing <br />for the collection of delinquent charges for 1993 sewer and water utility services and annual <br />septic inspection and recycling program fees. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />(•#13) LEVY SEWER CONNECTION FEE - RESOLUTION NO. 3365 <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Goetten, to adopt Resolution No. 3365, A Resolution <br />to Approve Connection to Municipal Sewer of the Property luxated at 1940 Shoreline Drive. <br />Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />(•#14) RESOLUTION TO CALL 1980 BONDS - RESOLUTION NO. 3366 <br />Mayor Callahan asked if the City were going to refinance the 1989 bonds if it would be cheaper <br />to do it all at one time. City Administrator Moorse explained these bonds will not be refinanced <br />but paid off. <br />A motion was made by Jabbour, seconded by Goetten, to adopt Resolution No. 3366 calling for <br />the redemption of the general obligation bonds of 1980. Ayes 5, nays 0.
