Richard <br />Fulmer had been in the City office to discuss this <br />application and requested to appear ]'>efore the Planning <br />Commission to introduce himself and liis family. <br />Mr. Ricliard Fulmer introduced liimself and his son and <br />daugliter-in-law, Brian and Cathy Fulmer,who would bo <br />operating the business. Tliis is their first venture of <br />til is kind. Tlioir current plans involve boarding only <br />witli possible grooming and specialized breeding at a <br />later time. Tliis would be a casli and carr>^ service. <br />Tlie maximum capacity of this facility would be 60 <br />dogs. <br />Picliard Fulmer advised that they have a scheduled <br />closing date on this property for October 21. Tliey <br />would like some reassurance at this time from the ^ <br />Planning Corniission concerning tliis application. Tliey <br />did not' uant to enter into any agreement if there \;crc <br />any possible chances for denial of this application. <br />Tlie genera] concensus of the Commission was favorable <br />toward this application. 'Tliey advised that a public <br />hearing had been scheduled to give the neighbors and <br />concerned public an opportunity to oxpress their <br />comments. Tlie applicant indicated he would be willing <br />to provide reasonable access for the public during <br />daytime hours and would comply with any reasonable <br />conditions the City might consider necessary after the <br />public hearing. <br />Tlie Zoning Administrator presented the plan for the <br />proposed dredging of Lafayette Bay. lie advised that <br />tlie certified property owner’s list which is a require­ <br />ment of the application was not submitted until today <br />so the neighboring property owners have not been <br />notified. Some documentation of previous dredging <br />approtnl was also requested to distinguish between <br />maintenance dredging and initial dredging. To date, <br />this has not been submitted. <br />Mr. Sween, representing the Association, was present <br />along with ^'r. Ilepp. Mr. Sween informed the Commission <br />that ho had contacted the DNL and he was unable to <br />secure tliis permit. In checking their microfilm <br />records, they were unable to find any evidence that a <br />permit was ever granted, lie further advised that he had <br />contacted a dredging company and was given the name of <br />Roy Roberts i.ho had been involwd in dredging many years <br />ago.
