He pointed
out that the building and parking area should not
exceed 52,000 square feet, which would leave about
4,000 square feet for the new sanctuary.
Mr. Anderson stated they did not have any parking
plans at this time.
Commissioner Hurr asked if busing was provided.
Mr. Anderson replied they have a few parents who
drive their children, but most students are
bused.
The Commission expressed concern about potential
traffic problems and asked where the access would
be located. Mr. Anderson replied the access would
be on Dunwoody Avenue at County Road #15. It
was suggested Church Lane be used for parking.
The Commission pointed out, however, that Church
Lane is private property and could not be used
for parking purposes.
The Commission indicated they wanted to know the
size of the church, including the approximate
dimensions of the building.
Mr. Anderson stated they wanted to get this done
as soon as possible before they exercise their
option.
Commissioner Hassel moved.
