Zoning Administrator explained that this application <br />is for filling and grading within the lakeshore area. <br />This area had been dredged one time before and h^ filled <br />in over the years. Applicant is requesting permission <br />to refill area so as to be level of adjacent properties <br />and level off to make lawn area. Letter from engineer <br />recommended that the area should be riprapped across the <br />front prior to any filling. <br />Mr. lietz was present. He stated that he was proposing <br />to use sand or area like fill for the project. Planning <br />Ccjmmission expressed concern about authorizing any filling <br />xn the lakeshore area, but felt this would be the restoring <br />of a natural situation rather than creation of an>Thing <br />new. <br />After some discussion, Hurr moved, Hassel seconded, to <br />reccHTimend approval contigent on the fact that the shoreline <br />be riprapped prior to any filling and that the type of <br />fill be approved by the city engineer. Motion - Ayes (6), <br />Nays (0), Abstain (1) ^fcDonald. <br />Planning Commission ^^^as informed that applicant had called <br />advising that they would be unable to attend this meeting. <br />Their request is for a conditional use permit for the keeping <br />of a horse. Applicant owns 1.13 acres at comer of Watertown <br />and Willow and has leased the adjoining property to the north <br />which is 2.68 acres. Mr. 5 Mrs. Gonsolus, property owners <br />across Willow Drive, were present and had some objections. <br />Adjoining property asner Rusciano has submitted a letter of <br />no objection to the inaintaining of a bam on this property. <br />Hannah moved, Hosfield seconded, to table this application <br />until the next meeting to allow the Martin's to be present <br />to indicate where the bam is located on this lot and the <br />length of the present lease.
