Tl. ^ cement slab was to remain based on the area limitations of the <br />properly. During construction specific alterations had to be made that could not be approved <br />by staff and requires Council review and action. Please review applicants ’ addendum. Exhibit <br />A. that reviews the entire matter. It is the normal procedure for staff to present the issue before <br />the Council. In turn. Council would refer the matter back to the Planning Commis. ion for <br />further review. At this time of year, the next meeting of the Planning Commission would be <br />in January of 1994 and applicant must finalize the alterations before the winter. Planning <br />Commission members are asked to consider the amended request and make a recommendation <br />to the Council. .Staff has been asked to schedule the application before the Council at the <br />November 22nd meeting. <br />Review of Issues <br />A. Second storv deck encK)sure. Review Exhibit B. Proposed enclosure was not to expand <br />be>a>nd the existing building envelope. In order to make the enclosure function as an <br />expansion of a bedroom area, the addition was extended .3-3ā€˜/i’ beyond the building <br />envelope to the south side of the residence (refer to Exhibit D). The expansn)n beyond <br />the existing building envelope involved an intensification of structure within the lakeshorc <br />protected area.
