UPON MOTION by Peg Swanson, seconded by Pamela Schroeder, the Board <br />of Education approved November 19, 1993 as Parent/Student Exchange <br />Day at Orono Middle School. <br />Motion carried. <br />UPON MOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by John Maresh, the Board of <br />Education congratulated those teachers who have earned tenure as <br />members of the Orono School District faculty effective at the <br />beginning of the 1993-94 school year. <br />Motion carried. <br />At this time a Tenure Ceremony was held at which <br />principals/supervisorp introduced/acknowledged each newly tenured <br />teacher, those teachers being: Pam Brinkhaus, Chris Bruce, Julia <br />Chalfant, Sarah Dahlgren, Barb Danger, Lrou Doherty, Maureen Gibbon, <br />Lucinia Gorman, Sue Heidt, Susan Hofer, Jodi Hoff, Don Krubsack, <br />Adair New, Julianne Ohmann, Deanne Ronald, and Darren Wolf. <br />After the adjournment of the Board meeting, a reception was held <br />for the newly tenured teachers. <br />UPON MOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Pamela Schroeder, the <br />meeting was adjourned.
