TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />Mayor and CiCy Council <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />November 19, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Acting Administrator Pay <br />The City Council recently brought to my attention that the pay <br />differential for the Acting Administrator should be 15% of his base <br />pay r».;ther than the current 5%. This is based on action taken by <br />the Council in 1991 at the time the then current City Administrator <br />had accepted new employtr.ent. <br />Based on this information, I have reviewed the 1991 adjustment <br />information and have talked with Mark Bernhardson, the former city <br />administrator and have confirmed that the 15% Acting Administrator <br />pay was to be a permanent adjustment rather than a temporary <br />adjustment during the transition to a new City Administrator. <br />Based on this information, the Acting Administrator pay will be <br />increased to the 15% rate immediately and this rate will be made <br />retro-active to January of 1992 the date the pay was reduced from <br />15% to 5%.
