f <br />Zoning File mSA <br />%f>tembei«t8,1993 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the variance application <br />as proposed, subject to the following conditions: <br />1.Arborvitac plantings to be installed along the north side of lot line adjacent to <br />backout apron and garage addition; plantings are also to be extended along the <br />east side of garage. The Planmng Commission also asked that the arborvitac <br />plantings along the north side lot line and the five arborvitac to be planted along <br />the east side of the existing structure are to be completed before a building permit <br />is issued for new construction. <br />2.Prior to the City issuing a building permit for the garage addition, the following <br />shall be completed: <br />a. Installation of new septic system. <br />b. Siding of second story to be installed except for area to the north side of <br />house where garage is to be attached. <br />3.Septic test areas to be staked and protected prior to the removal of the existing <br />driveway that serves residence. Drive must be '.imoved within 60 days of this <br />approval (November 20, 1993). <br />The enclosed approval resolution has been drafted per the Planning Commission’s <br />recommendation. Note that staff has prepared a new site plan locating expanded area of <br />required plantings and backout apron at north side of garage.
