It would be nearly impossible for Carson to <br />divert drainage away from Oleen. Staff would suggest that <br />perhaps the best thing we can do from a drainage standpoint is to <br />not allow excessive increases of hardcover on the property. <br />Staff RecoBBendation “ <br />Staff would recommend approval of side setbacks and hardcover <br />variances, based on a finding that the proposed additions will be <br />no closer to the side lot line than the existing house, finding <br />no significant detriment to air, sunlight or open space, and <br />finding no net increase in hardcover conditioned on plastic <br />underlayment being removed from the existing rock beds. An <br />additional hardship is that this is a substandard lot created <br />prior to current zoning standards.
