Nays 0. <br />(#16) POLICE CONTRACT <br />Mayor Callahan commented that the contract has the same roll-over feature as the fire <br />contract whereby the continuation of the contract is dependent upon the ratification of the <br />budget from year to year. He would like to see a provision that if one ol the other contract <br />cities terminated the contract, that it would opci: to renegotiation because the impact ol such <br />an event could be extensive and require considerable study into the cost effects. <br />Kelley concurs. <br />iVlayor Callahan requests Moorse to tell the Mayor and Council ol Long Lake that the Council <br />prefers to hold off on making a decision until alter November 1 st. <br />It was moved by Mayor Callahan to table the Police Contract. <br />8
