Contract Cities unless a Contract City employs officers <br />directly, independent of this agreement, to provide special <br />law enforcement services in the Contract City. In such event, <br />all obligations and liabilities with respect to employment of <br />soecial law enforcement officers shall be the complete <br />responsibility of the Contract City. No such direct <br />employment shall be entered into by the Contract City without <br />firstobtaining written approval of the City Administrator of <br />the City of Orono which approval shall not be unreasonably <br />withheld. <br />q Rnforcement Policies. Enforcement policies within the <br />City of Orono shall prevail as the enforcement policies within <br />the Contract Cities. The enforcement policies of the City of <br />Orono shall be provided in writing to the Contract Cities. <br />6. Enforcement of Ordinances of the Contract Cities. The <br />City of Orono officers assigned to duty within the Contract <br />shall enforce the Ordinances of the Contract Cities. <br />9. All Off^r-pr.q to be Officers of the Contract Cities., The <br />assigned duty within the Contract Cities shall be <br />provided authority to enforce the several laws of the Cities <br />by proper action to be taken by the governing councils of the <br />Contract Cities. The Chief of Police of the City of Orono <br />shall furnish the names of all Orono police officers to the <br />Clerks of the Contract Cities. <br />10. Offenses. All offenses shall be charged in accordance <br />with the ordinances of the Contracting City in which the <br />offense occurred in each case possible, otherwise, the charge <br />shall be made in accordance with the laws of the State of <br />Minnesota or the laws of the Federal Government. <br />11. Coimnunicat ions. EnuipmtM>L and Ihe City o,. <br />Orono shall furnish communication eqviipment necessary to <br />perform the services which are to be rendered. The City of <br />Orono shall provide the necessary equipment and vehicles and <br />the Contract Cities shall provide any necessary supplies whic. <br />must be specifically printed for the Contract Cities. <br />12.
