Gole direction of the City of Orono. The degree of services <br />rendered, the standards of performance, the hiring and <br />discipline of the officers assigned, and other matters <br />relating to regulations and policies, shall remain in the <br />control of the City of Orono. Any disputes between the <br />parties to this agree.nent as to the extent of functions and <br />duties to be rendered hereunder, or the level or manner of <br />performance of such service, shall be resolved by the City <br />Administrator of the City of Orono. If a Contract City <br />disagrees with the resolution, the Contract City may appeal <br />within thirty days of receipt of written notice of the <br />resolution, by giving written notice to the City o.^ Orono <br />asking for arbitration, as provided in paragraph 14B. The <br />CitV Administrator of the City of Orono, through the Chief of <br />Police, shall submit to the Contract Cities a monchl: report <br />of services rendered to the Contract Cities, as well as <br />suggestions regarding any changes that may be helpful, and a <br />quarterly budget update. These reports will include copies of <br />Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Criminal Justice Information <br />summaries for law enforcement services rendered within the <br />Contract Cities. <br />5 jnjnt Advisory Committee. Each Contracting City may <br />appoint two volunteer members to a joint advisory committee <br />and the name of such appointees shall be furnished to the City <br />of Orono Administration. The Joint Advisory Committee shall <br />meet periodically to discuss and make recommendations <br />regarding concerns or problems identified regarding the <br />provision of police service and to periodically review budget <br />updates. The Joint Advisory Committee shall have the specific <br />task of reviewing the Police Department's budget proposal for <br />the next calendar year and arriving at a consensus Budget <br />Package consisting of an Annual Operating Budget, a Year i <br />Budget, amount mid Y<mr Thror- Budget amount- by Augu.sL 3 S o <br />each calendar year. <br />6.
