TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />John Gcrhardson, Public Works Director <br />September 9, 1993 <br />SUBJECT: Consultant Selection I 'I'Jerground Tank Removal <br />5T;. <br />/ <br />% <br />Now that the new fueling system is in operation and all of tlie buildings in Crystal Bay <br />have been removed, we can begin the underground fuel tank removal. <br />A requirement of the Federal Regulations is to contract with a consultant to direct the <br />actual tank removal and soil testing. <br />We have received proposals from three firms as follows: <br />Schoell Madsen $2,647.00 <br />Northern Environmental $2,500.00 <br />Braun Intertec $1,950.00 <br />All of the above firms have performed this t>pe of service in the past and are <br />knowledgeable in this field. Braun Intenec provided the soil testing for the new facility site. <br />Theretbre, il is recommended to designate Braun Intertec as the consultant for the <br />underground tank removal for an ar*.ount of $1,950.00 <br />Isv
