L <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at 2780 Kelley <br />Parkway on Monday, August 16, 1993 at 7:15 p.m. on the matter of Application #1848, a <br />proposed amendment to the Orono Comprehensive Plan for the purpose of revising the <br />Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) boundary to include the properties generally locate^ <br />at 1000 Old Crystal Bay Road South and 1940 Shoreline Drive, legally described as: <br />Parcel 1.The west 230’ of the south 550’ of the NEU of the NE'>4 of Sec. 9-117- <br />23, <br />and <br />The north 467.5’ of the east 220’ of the south 550’ of the NW14 of the <br />NE'/4 of Sec. 9-117-23. <br />Parcel 2.Commencing at the most southerly comer of Lot 2, Block 1 "Ora Park ; <br />thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said Lot 2 and the <br />extension of said southwesterly line to the center line of Brown Road; <br />thence northeasterly along the center line of Brown Road to its intersection <br />with the extension of the northeasterly line of the southwesterly 121.12’ <br />of Lot 5, Elbridge S. Barnes First Subdivision; thence southeasterly along <br />said northeasterly line extended to the shore of Lake Minnetonka; thence <br />southerly along the shoreline of Lake Minnetonka to the southwesterly line <br />of Lot 5, Elbridge S. Barnes First Subdivision to its intersection with the <br />.southeasterly lines extended of Lots 1 and 2, "Ora Park"; thence <br />southwesterly along said southeast line extended to the point of beginmng. <br />and exclude the following property located at 2840 North Shore Drive: <br />Parcel A.That portion of Government Lot 2 in Sec. 9-117-23 lying north of a line <br />described as follows: a line parallel to the north line of the SWW of the <br />NW'4 of Sec. 9-117-23, located a distance 420’ south of said north line. <br />All persons wishing to be heard will appear at this time.
