In addition, I understand <br />that water management analyses indicate that removal of the <br />trees would be more harmful to drainage and water management <br />than the proposed driveway. <br />The proposed driveway would be essentially invisible from <br />the Lake. Approximately 1/2 of the shoreline at 960 Tonkawa <br />is wetlands, and I understand that the 75 foot setoack issue <br />is based on the driveway's proximity to these wetlands, rather <br />than to open water. <br />In my view, the variance application of Bill and Lori <br />Cornelius is both consistent with the established plans for <br />the property, and in the best interests of the City itself* <br />For those reasons I would like to request that you approve <br />their application. <br />Sincer <br />miller <br />2435 Countryside Drive <br />Orono, Minnesota 55356
