The main intent of the formation of this <br />independent council is to encourage collaboration between all the <br />cities and organizations within the boundaries of Wayzata District <br />284. The boundaries of the district are used to to define the <br />••community” only. The main purpose of the council will be to act <br />as a catalyst to promote collaborative efforts between the <br />membership organizations. <br />We all tend to center in our own problems and opportunities and <br />lose site of our neighbor who may have the same problems and <br />challenges. Diminishing fiscal resources are beginning to affect <br />us all. We have to look at ways of coordinating our efforts to do <br />more with less. <br />We are requesting your city council to appoint an elected or <br />employed representative to this collaboration council at your <br />August 9 th council meeting.
