A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br />FILE /S^1834 <br />WHEREAS, Mary K. McCarty (hereinafter "the applicant") has an interest in the <br />propeny located at 245 Tonka Avenue within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lots 5 and 6, Block 3. "Bayside Addition to Ltike Minnetonka", Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "the propeny"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 6 (B) to permit construction of a new residence on a <br />property that consists of 12.500 s.f. or .286 acres where 87,120 s.f. or 2 acres is required and <br />a lot width variance as lot is 100’ at the rear of the 50’ street setback where a 200 width is <br />required. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE FP RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FUNDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1834. <br />3. <br />The propeny is located in the LR-IA, Lakeshore Residential Zoning Distnet. <br />The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on June 21, 1993, and <br />recommended unanimous approval of the proposed variances based upon the <br />following findings and hardships: <br />A.
