Although his sketch shows <br />something different, if he meets that 30' setback, the third variance is <br />not required. Applicant suggests that the hardships for the 5* side <br />setback variance are due to the location of the existing driveway, the <br />width of the proposed new garage, and his wish to maintain the circular <br />nature of the driveway past the northwest corner of the new garage. <br />Given the location of the existing house, the variance to allow the <br />garage to be nearer Navarre Avenue than the existing house is reasonable, <br />since moving the garage behind the extended west line of the house would <br />leave him with more driveway hardcover and very little back yard. <br />Staff Recn—n nd stion - <br />Staff recommends approval of the i^evised proposal subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1.
