I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I.Expected Sewer lapro fits <br />Based upon the existing sewer facilities, the Metropolitan <br />interceptor capacity assigned to Orono, and the foregoing <br />alternative waste menagement studies, the following improvements <br />as shown on Map 3 are expected to be constructed in the period <br />1993-2010: <br />1. Highway 12 interceptor - construction of gravity or <br />forcenain interceptor to accoinnodate anticipated flows from <br />future development along Highway 12. Expected construction: <br />1994-1998. Possible options may include: <br />A. Construction of a gravity interceptor parallel to <br />and in addition to the existing Long Lak*.* bypass. <br />B. Replacement and enlargement of the existing Long <br />Lake bypass. <br />C. Rerouting of all flows from Medina and Orono from <br />the current connection to the Long Lake bypass, down <br />Old Crystal Bay Road to the Orono pump station. <br />2. Garden Lane - private developer extension of gravity <br />sewer laterals to serve 10-20 new residential units within <br />the MUSA. Expected construction year: 1995. <br />3. Baldur Park - private developer extension of gravity <br />sewer lateral service to serve four new residential units <br />within the MUSA. Expected construction year: 1995. <br />4. Highway 12 corridor - municipal lateral construction to <br />serve further institutional/commercial development expected <br />to occur within the Highway 12 corridor areas per <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment #2 (1988). Expected <br />construction year: Ongoing 1993-2010. <br />V
