A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY <br />APPROVAL OF A CLASS IH SUBDIVISION <br />FOR THE RUSSELL LUND ESTATE <br />- FILE NO. 1818 <br />WHEREAS, Tres Lund and Dario Anselmo authorized represenutives of the <br />Russell Lund Estote on March 26, 1993, filed a formal subdivision application with the City for <br />approval of a two lot residential plat of property legally described as: <br />Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 1, Vasa Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Minnesota <br />Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono’s Zoning and Platting Codes, the Orono <br />Planniiig Commission held a public hearing on April 19. 1993, at which time all persons <br />desirii^ to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on May 10, 1993, the Oroiw City <br />Council considered the subdivision application of the Russell T. Lund Estate, noting the <br />following findings of fact: <br />1.The property is located within the LR-IB Single Family Lakeshorc Resklential <br />Zoning District requiring a minimum of one acre of buildable land within each <br />newly created lot. <br />2.The property contains a total of 6.3 acres all of which is considered dry <br />buildable. <br />3.The proposed plat contains two lots each exceeding the 1 acre minimum lot area <br />requirements. Lot A proposed at 3.03 acres. Lot B proposed at 3.27 acres. <br />Lot A is 305* measured in a straight line at the shoreline and 290 ’ at the 75 ’ <br />setback area where 140 ’ lot width is required. <br />5.
