monitoring, and presenting such a plan to the Project Advisory Committee for review and <br />comment pursuant to paragraph 5.1 of this Agreement <br />3.1.12. The MCWD shall be responsible for the entire project costs associated with <br />the feasibility analysis, design, operation and maintenance of the improvements, subject to <br />City responsibility for routine maintenance costs as described in paragraph 3.2.3 of this <br />Agreement The MCWD shall be responsible for all operating costs, including electricity, of <br />the Long Lake aeration system. <br />3.1.13. The MCWD agrees that the MCWD District Engineer ’s feasibility reports and <br />designs for the improvements in the area of the Lc.'.j ; subwatershed, as identified in the <br />map attached to this Agreement for reference as Appendix A, shall be provided to the Cities; <br />further, the MCWD agrees that these documents may constitute a substantial basis for the <br />preparation of the local water management plans for the Cities of Long Lake, Orono, and <br />Medina for the area identified in Appendix C, and that upon proper endorsement, completion, <br />and resubmittal of these documents to the MCWD, the MCWD will approve them pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Section 103B.235, subdivision 3. <br />3.2. Local Responsibilities (Cities of Long Lake, Orono, Medina) <br />3.2.1. The Cities agree to prepare local water management plans for the area of the <br />Long Lake subwatershed identified in Appendix A to this Agreement, based upon the <br />feasibility reports, design plans, and specifications for this project prepared by the MCWD <br />and any other relevant information identified by the Cities, including plans for implementing <br />best management practices as provided for in sub-paragraph 3.2.2. of this paragraph to this <br />Agreement; the Cities agree that prior to construction of any of the MCWD stormwater <br />275/14070923 KV3I/V4
