The City Council has : jnudercd this applicatioo including the findings and lecommendatiocis of the Planning Commisskm. reports by City staff, commMits by the applicant and the effect of the proposed variance on the health, safety and welfare of the community. The City Council finds that the conditions existing on thb property are peculiar to it and do not apply generally to other property in thb zoning dbtrkt; that gnmting the variance would not adversely affect tridfic conditions, ligitt, ab nor pose a fire hazaud or other danger to neighboring property; would not inerely serve as a convenience to the applicant, but b necessary to alleviate a demonstrable hardship or difficulty; is necessary to preserve a substantbl property right of the applicant; and would be in keeping with the spirit and intent of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of the City. CONCLUSIONS, ORDER AND CONDITiONS Based upon one or more of the findings noted above, the Orono City Council hereby grants the variances as set forth above and approves the proposed amci^nt of Resolution #3371 that approved the placement of an 8’x8 ’x20 ’ storage module wit^n parking stall 34 and now grants a variance that would allow the relocation of said storage module within either stalls 37 or 38. subject to the following conditions: Page 3 of 9 , a-% • .t, -------- ..M • rr
