Wirtjcs, (hereinafter subdividers ) <br />on April 21. 1993. filed . foHMl sabdi»irio« VPlicnon the of a two lot <br />ClaM ra residential subdivision of property legally described as follows: <br />Sec Exhibit "A" attached (hereinafter "the property*); and <br />WHEREAS* after due published and mailed notice in accordance with Miniwsota <br />Sianiies 462 358 et. seq. and the City of Orono ’s Zoning and Planning Codes the Orono <br />Planning Commission held public hearings on May 17 and June <br />persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportumty to speak <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on July 12. 1993. the Orono City <br />Council considered the subdivision application of the subdividers notmg the following findings <br />of fact: <br />1 The property is located within the RR-IB Rural Residential Zoning District <br />requiring a tninimtim of two acres of contiguous dt> buildable land within each <br />newly created lot. <br />The property contains a total of approximately 5+ acres. <br />The proposed plat conuins two lots each exceeding the 2 acre minimum lot area <br />requirement. <br />Access has been approved via a shared driveway at the existing curb cut that <br />currently serves the residence on proposed Lot 1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />Page 1 of 6
