L <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.24, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br />FILE nm <br />WHEREAS, Ernest J. Lemmerman (hereinafter "the applicant") is owner of the <br />property located at 4620 Tonkaview Lane within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br />legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Lemmerman Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br />property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit the construction of a new residence on <br />the undeveloped lot which consists of 20,900 s.f. or .47 acres where 43,560 s.f. or 1 acre is <br />required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. <br />2. <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1911. <br />The property is located in the LR-IB, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br />requiring 1 acre in area. <br />3.The Orono Planning Conunission reviewed this application on March 21, 1994, <br />and May 16. 1994 and recommended approval of the proposed variance based <br />upon the following findings; <br />A.
