Further, it will correct <br />a change to the "steep slope" percentage which the City agreed to in 1992 but which was omitted <br />from the code as adopted. Finally, the amendment will reclassify French Lake North Basin and <br />Sewage Lagoon as wetland basins rather than lake basins, therefore these two basins will no <br />longer be subject to lake setback requirements. <br />A brief review of each section of the proposed amendments is contained in the cover memo of <br />June 13, 1994. <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing for these proposed amendments at their June <br />20th meeting and recommended their adoption on a vote of 7-0. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval of the proposed amendments per the attached ordinance draft. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Proposed motion: Moved by____. seconded by______, to adopt Ordinance it____, Second <br />Series, an ordinance to amend certain portions of Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.56, <br />Shoreland Management, as proposed.
