Box 452 <br />Spring Park, Minnesota 55384 <br />Honorable Mavor and Citv Council <br />The City of Orono does hereby submit a proposal and proposed contract for the provision <br />of police services to the City of Spring Park in 1995. The City of Orono proposes to provide <br />24 hour police service by assigning and stationing in Spring Park one officer, 24 hours per day. <br />seven days per week. Orono further proposes to provide additional officers for response in the <br />case of multiple calls or calls requiring more than one officer. The proposal also provides that <br />the police department will handle animal complaint calls and handle pick-up and impound <br />animals as necessary. <br />In its police services proposal for 1994, the city and police department committed <br />themselves to providing the highest quality police services and the highest level of <br />responsiveness to the City of Spring Park ’s police needs. The l994 contract was a one year <br />agreement to enable the City of Orono and the police department to demonstrate a level of <br />service and responsivertess to enable Spring Park to be confident in both maintaining its <br />relationship with Orono for police services and in considering entering into a multi-year
