Onen, 425 Turnham Road - Variance - Resolution <br />H • Applicant ’s Reejuest to be Scheduled before the Council of the June 27th Meeting <br />Brief Review of Application <br />Applicant ’s property is located in the 5 acre rural zoning district. The property is 3.8 acres in <br />area and 211 ’ in width. Applicant seeks approval of a variance that would allow ^ mstalla^ <br />of a 26 ’x38’ detached garaged to be placed entirely in front of the front line of the <br />structure. The accessory garage at 988 s.f. will meet the required 15 ’ side setback and 100 <br />street setback. <br />The hardships have been listed in applicant ’s addendum information. Exhibit A, and reviewed <br />set forth in the sttff memo dated June 13, 1994. <br />The proposed strurcure be constnicted of the same exterior materials as that of the principal <br />residence. Applk;^ rt jted that the side facing the street will have a window uid appear <br />like residential structure. Planning Commission did condition approval on plantings be proviM <br />along the north and east side of the structure requiring that applicant provi^ a <br />with the submission of the building permit application. PUnning Cominission also added that <br />the plantings must be completed within a year from the date of the building permit applicatioo. <br />Staff recommends a definite date of June 30. 1995. <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval The enclosed resolution has been <br />drafted per the findings and conditions of that approval. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To approve or amend the staff resolution.
