A RESOLLTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT TO LOT I. BLOCK 2. OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD ADDITION PRIOR TO THE COMPLETION OF ROAD AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on May 23. 1994 the City Council of the City of Orono. approved the plat of Old Crystal Bay Road Addition requiring certain drainage and road improvements as a condition of approval of the plat; and WHEREAS, on June 13. 1994 Tandem Propenies. the subdivider, on behalf of Tony Eiden Company filed a request with the City to direct the Orono staff to issue a building permit to Lot 1. Block 2 before these required site improvements are completed to this City's satisfaction; and WHEREAS, this lot is already served by an existing driveway at Watenown Road that will provide safe access for emergency vehicles during the early months of construction. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVTD, that the City Council of the City of Orono hereby directs the Building and Zoning staff to issue a building permit to Tony Eiden Company for new residential construction on Lot 1. Block 2. Old Crystal Bay Road Addition upon the satisfaction of all requirements of the City to allow the issuance of a building permit subject to the following conditions; 1 All drainage and grading improvements wiihm Lot 1. Block 2 as shown on final grading plans for Old Crystal Bay Road Addition must be completed in conjunction with the construction of the residence and completed prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued to Tony Eiden Construction Company un'il an approved base has been installed for Country' Side Drive West and a new drive installed to serve the residence at Lot I, Block 2. Old Crystal Bav Road Addition. Upon the installation of the new drive at Country Side Drive West the former drive at Watertown Road must be closed off to all vehicular use and the gravel drive restored to natural ground cover.
