A RESOLLTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT TO <br />LOT I. BLOCK 2. OLD CRYSTAL BAY ROAD ADDITION <br />PRIOR TO THE COMPLETION OF ROAD AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, on May 23. 1994 the City Council of the City of Orono. approved the plat <br />of Old Crystal Bay Road Addition requiring certain drainage and road improvements as a <br />condition of approval of the plat; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 13. 1994 Tandem Propenies. the subdivider, on behalf of Tony <br />Eiden Company filed a request with the City to direct the Orono staff to issue a building permit <br />to Lot 1. Block 2 before these required site improvements are completed to this City's <br />satisfaction; and <br />WHEREAS, this lot is already served by an existing driveway at Watenown Road that <br />will provide safe access for emergency vehicles during the early months of construction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVTD, that the City Council of the City of Orono <br />hereby directs the Building and Zoning staff to issue a building permit to Tony Eiden Company <br />for new residential construction on Lot 1. Block 2. Old Crystal Bay Road Addition upon the <br />satisfaction of all requirements of the City to allow the issuance of a building permit subject to <br />the following conditions; <br />1 All drainage and grading improvements wiihm Lot 1. Block 2 as shown on final <br />grading plans for Old Crystal Bay Road Addition must be completed in <br />conjunction with the construction of the residence and completed prior to the <br />issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy <br />A Certificate of Occupancy will not be issued to Tony Eiden Construction <br />Company un'il an approved base has been installed for Country' Side Drive West <br />and a new drive installed to serve the residence at Lot I, Block 2. Old Crystal <br />Bav Road Addition. <br />Upon the installation of the new drive at Country Side Drive West the former <br />drive at Watertown Road must be closed off to all vehicular use and the gravel <br />drive restored to natural ground cover.
