While the drainage going towards Shutts could be redirected across Bucey s b u , <br />would 'require considerable grading in the 0-75’ zone and would cause potentially greater <br />problems for stability of the bluff just above Bucey ’s and Shutts’ boat houses. <br />In a proposal by Mrs. Smcrling’s attorney Robert Mitchell, it was suggested that Bucey add <br />shuttL w four specific windows on the south elevation for aesthetic purposes. Hanning <br />Commission indicated that if Smerling and Bucey agree to this, that condition could ^ a^ed <br />to the resolution. As of this writing, staff has no indication that the agreement as <br />accepted by both parties, so that condition has been omitted from the draft resolution. <br />Staff has asked that a final grading plan retlecting the City Engineer’s recommended revisions <br />be submitted for attachment as an exhibit to the resolution. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />staff recommends approval per the Planning Comrais^on <br />resolution contains a number of findings that support the request and a number of specific <br />conditions for approval. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Adoption of resolution for approval of variances for Ty and Myla Bucey at 2677 Casco Point <br />Road to allow construction of a new residence. <br />J
