McCrossan Constuction, Inc. <br />o Lunda Construction Company, Inc. <br />o Progressive Contractmg, Inc. <br />o Structural Specialties, Lac. <br />The low bid of $499,751.00 was submined by Lunda Construction Company, Inc. We <br />recommend that the City Council recommends that the Commissioner of the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation award a contract to Lunda Construction Company, Inc. for <br />the project A resolution was previously forward to you for this action. Another copy is <br />also enclosed with this iener. <br />Prior to Mn/DOT recommending award of the contract to Lunda, the City will need to send <br />Mn/DOT a check to cover the portion of the project not eligible for Federal, State or MSA <br />funding. Based on the bid from Lunda Construenon. we estimate this amount to be <br />approximately $7761. This is the portion of the project attributable to accommodating the <br />gas main on the bridge and also adding two feet to the width of the sidewalk for the gas <br />main. We will try to recover some or all of this amount from Minnegasco. <br />Mn/DOT will also need the original affidavit for the bid from the local newspaper.
