Member introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO LAKE MINNETONKA CONSERVATION <br />DISTRICT; OPPOSING THE DISSOLUTION THEREOF <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of <br />_ _ _ _ _ _ , Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: <br />1. Recitals. The City is a member of the Lake <br />Minnetonka Conservation District (the "LMCD") <br />organized under Sections 103B.601 through 103B.691, <br />Minnesota Statutes. Pursuant to Section 103B.605, <br />Subd. 4, the IMCD may be dissolved by the decision <br />of the governing bodies of three-quarters of the <br />municipalities thereof. Certain cities within the <br />LMCD have adopted resolutions requesting its <br />dissolution. The Board of Directors of the LMCD has <br />requested that all member cities take formal action <br />on the question of dissolution thereof. <br />2. Determination and Decision. The City opposes <br />dissolution of the LMCD. <br />3. Filina of Resolution. A certified copy of this <br />Resolution shall be forwarded to the LMCD for filing <br />in its official books and records. <br />Member seconded the resolution and <br />upon a vote thereon,members voted yes, and <br />members voted no, and the resolution was declared passed this <br />_ _ _ day of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _, 1994. <br />Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Clerk
