These are my roaons; <br />1 1 purchased this home in June 1992 for S250.000. <br />2. It was valued at $274,000 for tax« payable in 1993. I paid taxes on that valuation in <br />1993. <br />3 I came before the Orono City Council in the spring of 1993 to ask for relief based on the <br />$250,000 purchase price The relief was granted and I am paying taxes in 1994 on a <br />N'aluation of $250,000. <br />4. I have been woildng to repair tl« ’'ouse, mostly painting, brush cutting, and cleaning. <br />I have not made any significant impiovements to the house. <br />5 On April 10,1 received a new valuation notice of $269,000. That's a 7 5% increase in one <br />year I bdieve its inconect based on purchase price and low escalation of |?roperty values <br />in general This is cspedaDy true of this propeny which has experienced further structure <br />deterioration. <br />Please review the newly assessed \ahie with the above &cis in mind.
