K ’ <br />•‘r ; <br />• /.• ••. i - • <br />.«• <br />r- <br />- ^ <br />I would reeessMnd that tha owner be dirseted to <br />retain the low area along Pamdala Road and his <br />north«pasterly property line in ita natural <br />state and to conatruct a flat drainage swale <br />between the two elm trees (to the west of the <br />proposed house) and tha westerly property line. <br />This ditch should have a bottom elevation of 933«. <br />Under this proposal# the minimal amount of <br />water normally entering this drainage «ray trould <br />be percolated into the soil# thereby creating <br />no direct run-off to tha lake. In the event of <br />•1 large rainfall# however# the swale would <br />allow the water which is backed up# to overflow <br />into the lake. If these roeoaBwndations are <br />followed# the low area will function very much <br />aa it does preaently# in that the overflow to the <br />lake at present# occurs when the water reaches <br />933 elevation. This occurs after the pocketing <br />of water to a depth of roughly S inches.
