Sieff, 1080 Wildhurst Trail - Variance - Continuation of Public <br />Hearing <br />Status of Application <br />At the July 19, 1993 meeting of the Planning Commission, staff requested the application <br />be tabled to provide applicant with additional time to consider hardcover removals. It was <br />apparent that Mrs. Sieff had not participated in the preparation of the application and was really <br />not prepared to discuss additional removals at the meeting. Since that time staff has met with <br />the applicant. Applicant has presented an amended hardcover removal plan, review Exhibit D. <br />List of Exhibits <br />A - Original Site Plan <br />B - Floor Plan of Expanded Deck <br />C - Applicant ’s Amended Site Plan <br />D - Applicant ’s Amended Hardcover Proposal <br />E - Original Staff Memo 7/14/93 <br />F - Planning Commission Action Notice 7/23/93 <br />Review of Amended Proposal <br />In reviewing the hardcover facts with applicant, staff noted an error in determining <br />original hardcover facts within the 0-75’ setback area. Review Exhibits A and C, in the original <br />plan staff read the dimensions for shed in lakeshore yard at 12.9x14.2 resulting in 183.2 s.f. or <br />2.3% existing hardcover. The shed measures 6’2"xl4’2" resulting in 84 s.f. of hardcover. <br />Additional hardcover results from sea wall at lakeshore. Staff has consistently excluded the <br />hardcover resulting from riprap or sea walls at shoreline. Hardcover from sea wall is <br />approximated at 76 s.f. <br />Hardcover within the 0-75’ setback area, is amended as follows: <br />0-75’ setback area = 7,900 s.f. <br />Allowed = 0 <br />Existing = 160 s.f. or 2.% <br />Proposed = removal of 84.4 s.f. of shed and 76 s.f. hardcover remains for sea <br />wall. <br />Mrs. Sieff s proposal includes the removal of plastic underliner beneath rose bed planters <br />in lakeshore yard and also the concrete slabs (rose bed planters 331.5 s.f. and a:? in earlier
