Since staff’s preparation of the original packet for your O:iober meeting, the City Engineer has submitted an update report, refer to E.xhibit S. Gustafson advises that Mn/DOT will allow a curb cut to the property as part of the Highway 12 safety improvement project scheduled for 1995. It would appear that there may be a need to acquire additional right-of-way from the owner to complete the improvements. For more information on the issue of access to the property, members should refer to .sections of Comp Plan Amendment No. 2 (Exhibits L and M) and in the many Sugar Woods plat documents (E.xhibits I, J and K).
