Request for Council Action continued <br />Page 3 <br />December 4, 1995 <br />Zonimi File #1958 Louis Obrhauser, 2405 Dunvvoody Avenue. 3865/3877 Shoreline Drive <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval of the lot width and area <br />variances that would permit new construction on proposed Lots I and 2. 1 he Planning <br />Commission would not recommend approval of hardcover variances tor either existing or new <br />improvements within the 0-75* setback area. The Planning Commission would not approve any <br />encroachment of the lakeshore setback line for new construction on Lot 1. Planning <br />Commission members opposed the structural coverage variance required for the new <br />construction on Lot 1 finding that the lot line could be adjusted it there is a need tor additional <br />area to support the structural improvement. Planning Commission members approved the much <br />improved hardcover variances sought by applicant in tlie replat and also found no problem witli <br />approving the street setback variance of 20’ for the garage addition on Lot 1 as long as doors <br />opened away from County road and turnaround provided on site. <br />The following variances were approved by the Planning Commission; <br />1.
