The remote dock would be used by those people idling or stopping <br />for short periods This will enable those boats entenng or exiting the lake to do so <br />without imerference. There will be SO car-trailer parking stalls <br />stalls An access trail wiU also be constructed lo the lishing pier. This trail is near the <br />roadway and will be built as a sidewalk adjacent to Tonkavva Road. It was noted that <br />children would need to be closely watched in this and all ot the area. <br />Linnell said the drainage for the parking lot splits it in the middle ^ “ <br />Brassed swale thru two skimmers, to a catch basrn. and onto a culvert to Ctvsta IBay^ <br />The other side wiU have a swale, two skimmers, with a possible sheet How, and then <br />berm <br />Linnell reported that there will be 4 handicap parking spots with two "car only". At least <br />two docks and a pier will be handicap accessible There will be no curb or gutter along <br />the lake side The access will be asphalt or bituminous The turn lane and islands wiU <br />have concrete gutters and boulders to control the traffic. A sign near the entrance will <br />direct car/trailer while still allowing cars to pull away from the launch ramp. <br />Linnell said it was the DNR's intent to preseive the existing trees. One tree in <br />tonded to be saved is a 28" oak. New native trees will be planted and existing evergreen <br />U«fr^d 1C !s deciduous trees will be transplanted. A wUdflower and grass vegeimion <br />buffer strip will be planted along the shoreline to provrde better hltration trom runofflrom <br />the parkina lot. There will be some screening, but they did not want to block the view in <br />from the rrad 165 shrubs and 37 new trees will be planted. Killien added that two <br />parkina spaces were eliminated to save a hackbeny tree on the property. <br />1 • '
