When the application was made, the City <br />pointed out that you would need to seek a subdivision because two houses could not be buUt <br />on the combined lot You applied for such simple subdivision and then, at the Planning <br />Commission meeting where the subdivision was considered, asked to have the matter tabled. <br />Proceduraily then, you might consider the following: if you believe that the combination is <br />not a legal bar to the building permit, you could dismiss the subdivision application, and then <br />appeal the City ’s denial of the building permit, which will be based on the fact that the <br />combined lot cannot have two houses on it Alternatively, you may wish to continue working <br />with the City to allow the subdivision you think appropriate which, if denied, would also be <br />available for review. <br />Please let me know whether you have any questions. <br />082/22086547 6/29«5
