A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONINT'. CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 19 <br />FILE^#1820 <br />WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Department of Environmental Management, <br />(hereinafter "applicant") has applied to the Cit>' of Orono (hereinafter "City ") for a conditional use <br />permit per Section 10.03, Subdivision 19 to permit the repair of a sea%\all at the North Arm public <br />access. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File »1820. <br />(tmm <br />The property is located in the LR-IC Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. <br />On Mav 17. 1993. the Orono Planning Commission reviewed the application as <br />proposed and recommended approval of the conditional use permit based on the <br />following findings: <br />A) On January 13. 1986 the City of Orono granted a conditional use permit for <br />the installation of the seaw all at the North .-\rm access. <br />B) Repair involves replacement of existing wooden sections of wall adjacent to <br />the ramp area and replacement with steel sections. The wooden sections of <br />the wall are in a serious state of disrepair and present a hazard for the public <br />who use the access. <br />Page 1 of 4
