<br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 9.14 ADOPTED 4/1/84 ANT)
<br />ORDINANCE NO. 71, SECOND SERIES ADOPTED 4/14/89 AND ENTITLED
<br />"CURFEW”.
<br />The City Council of Oroio (»rdains:
<br />Ordinance No. 9.14 adopted 4/1/84 and Ordinance No. 71. Second Series adopted 4/14/89 and
<br />entitled "Curfew" are repealed and is replace by the following language.
<br />Ordinance No., Second Series. Curfew.
<br />Subd. 1. Curfew - Juveniles, ages 12 and younger. It shall be unlawful for any juvenile,
<br />twelve (12) years of age or younger to be on or present upon any public street, alley, park,
<br />playground, or place open to the public, or place of amusement and entertainment, vacant lot,
<br />or other unsupervised place in the City between the hours of nine o clock (9:00) P.M. and live
<br />o’clock (5:00) A.M. of the following day. This Section ^hall not apply when the Juvenile is
<br />accompanied by the Juvenile ’s parent, guardian, or othe» adult person having authorized care,
<br />custody or control of such juvenile.
<br />Subd. 2. Curfew - Juveniles, ages 13 through 14. It shall be unlaw ful for any juvenile
<br />thirteen (13) through fourteen (14) years of age to be on or present upon any public street, alley,
<br />park, playground, or place open to the public, or place of amusement and entertainment, vacant
<br />lot. or c.'wr unsupervised place in the City between the hours of ten o’clock (10:(X)) P.M. and
<br />five o uock (D.OO) A.M. of the following day. This Section shall not apply when the juvenile
<br />is acco; paiiied by the Juvenile ’s parent, guardian, or other adult person having authorized care,
<br />custody or control of such juvenile.
<br />Subd. 3. Curtew - Juveniles, age 15 through 16. It shall be unlawful for any juvenile
<br />fifteen (15) through sixteen (16) years of age to loiter, idle, w-ander, or play in or upon any
<br />public street, avenue, alley, park, playground, or place open to the public, or place of
<br />amusement and entenainment. vacant lot. or other unsupervised place in the City between the
<br />hours of eleven o’clock (11:00) P.M. to five o’clock (5:00) A.M. Sunday through Thursday,
<br />and 12:00 .Midnight to five o’clock (5:00) A..M. on Friday and Saturday. This Section shall not
<br />apply when the juvenile is accompanied by the juvenile ’s parent, guardian, or other adult person
<br />having authorized care, cusuxly or control of such Juvenile.
<br />Subd. 4. Curfew - Juveniles, age 17. It shall be unlawful for any juvenile seventeen
<br />(17) vears of aee to loiter, idle, wander, or play in or upon any public street, avenue, alley,
<br />park, playcround. or place open to the public, or place of amusement and entertainment, vacant
<br />lot or other unsupervised place in the City between the hours of twelve o’clock (12:00)
<br />Midnight and five o’clock (5:00) A.M. ITiis Section shall not apply when the juvenile is
<br />accompanied by the Juvenile ’s parent, guardian, or other adult person having authorized care.
