The <br />Council requested Hennepin County to review the potential wetland mitigation area on County <br />15 to determine the amount of credit the city could receive toward its share of the right-of-way <br />acquisition cost. <br />New Cost Estimate <br />The attached lener from Hennepin County sets out the estimated costs for the County Road 15 <br />reconstruction project from Orono Orchard Road to Hillside Drive, and the construction/right-ot <br />way costs for the Bracketts Point curv'c reconstruction project. The city’s share ot right-of-way- <br />costs for the project at the eastern end of County Road 15 is estimated to be $65,000. less a <br />$7,500 credit for the w'etland mitigation site; which reduces the city’s estimated share to <br />$57,500. <br />The city’s share of construction and right-of-way costs for the Bracketts =nt curve project is <br />$61,500. The city’s total estimated cost for the two projects is $119,006. <br />An MSA project/budget spreadsheet showing projected .MSA revenues and expenditures is <br />attached to show how 'the County 15 projects fit into the .MSA project funding priorities. <br />Resolution <br />The attached resolution authorizes the County 15 - East End project to move to the next stage <br />based on the $57,500 cost. The resolution also requires Council approval of final plans prior <br />to the final authorization of the project. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQLT:STKD: <br />.Motion to approve deny the adoption of a resolution authorizing the County Road 15 - East End <br />project to proceed to the next planning and design stage. <br />t
