Zoning File #2056 <br />October 11, 1995 <br />Page 2 <br />Staff Reconiineiidal <br />If Planning Conunission concludes that sutficienl justification exists for construction of the <br />proposed boulder walls at the top of the slope, approval could be conditioned on the following; <br />1.Prior to application going to Council, applicant to provide a 0-75 hardcover <br />worksheet indicating all existing and proposed hardcover. <br />Planning Commission should determine whether to allow the existing tabric/mulch <br />areas to continue to be lined with fabric, or have the fabric removed. <br />3.Require the use of "Best Management Practices for Protecting Water Qualiry in <br />Urban Areas" during the process of boulder wall construction. <br />4.Clarify that the approval does not include excavation or grading in the 0-75' zone <br />for the purpose of eliminating poison ivy, nor does it include approval tor any tree <br />removals in the 0-75’ zone. <br />Applicants have requested that this item be placed on the City Council Agenda tor the October <br />23 meeting. <br />Options for Action <br />1.
