We have been <br />pgoifining ski shows around the state for several <br />years and are currently searching for a new <br />location to call home. You may be familiar with <br />us from the show we do on Long Lake during <br />Buckhorn Days. <br />Our shows are free to the public and are focused <br />towards families. We are currently working with <br />the City of Long Lake on the possibility of doing <br />a weekly show there. We have received very good <br />feedback from the Chamber of Commerce, City <br />Council, and residents of the city. <br />Due to the fact that much of the land surrounding <br />Long Lake is in Orono, we feel it is necessary to <br />also have your approval to make this venture a <br />complete success. <br />We feel that we can make a positive impact on the <br />economy of both cities by bringing in spectators <br />to watch our shows. We would also like to <br />introduce a youth learn-to-ski program to your <br />community in conjunction with the University of <br />Minnesota. <br />Our organization has received excellent press for <br />its community involvement. We strive to keep <br />this positive public image intact, and will bring <br />favorable press to both Long Lake and Orono. <br />We would appreciate any help or feedback that you <br />can provide.
