A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />VARIANCES TO <br />MLTVICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 9 (C-2) <br />AND SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br />FILE #2010 <br />WHEREAS, James R. Jundt and M. Joann Jundt (hereinafter "the applicants ) <br />are owners of the property located at 1400 Bracketts Point Road within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />Refer to Exhibit A attached hereto (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City for variaiKes to <br />Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (C-2) and Section 10.23. SuMivision 6 <br />(B) to permit structural repairs to an oversized accessory structure that is located 4 from a side <br />lot line where a 30’ setback is required and approval of a vanance that would^low structural <br />improvements to an oversized accessory structure at 5,478 s.f. where only a 3,000 s.f. structure <br />would be allowed. <br />Minnesota; <br />1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2010. <br />The property is located in the LR-IA, Lakeshore Residential Zoning District <br />requiring 2 acres in area. The property consists of 13.8 acres. <br />The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on April 17, 1995, <br />and recommended approval of the variances as proposed based on the followmg <br />unique findings and hardships: <br />Page 1 of 7
