ORDINANCE #, 2ND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE; <br />PROVIDING FOR ITS ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT; REGLXATING THE <br />ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENXARGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, <br />REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, CONVERSION, OCCUPANCY, EQUIPMENT, USE, <br />HEIGHT, AREA AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL BUILDINGS AND/OR STRUCTURES <br />IN THE CITY OF ORONO; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND <br />COLLECTION OF FEES THEREFORE; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE <br />VIOLATION THEREOF; AMENDING SECTION 12.01 - BUILDING CODE ADOPTED, <br />OF THE ORONO MU*NICIPAL CODE AND ALL OTHER ORDLNANCES AND PARTS <br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND REPEALS ORDINANCE 87, <br />SECOND SERIES WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON AUGUST 13, <br />1990. <br />The City Council of Orono ordains as follows: <br />Subdivision 1. Building Code. The Minnesota State Building Code, established pursuant to <br />Minnesota State Statutes 16B.59 through 16B.75, one copy of which is on file in the office of <br />the City Clerk, is hereby adopted as the Building Code for the City of Orono. Such Code is <br />hereby incorporated in this Ordinance as if fully set out herein. <br />A.
