It will be held <br />jointly with the City of Long Lake. In past years fees have been charged for all items brought <br />to the clean-up day except miscellaneous refuse items. For example, a fee of $12.00 per cubic <br />yard has been charged for construction materials which covers 100% of the city’s costs. In past <br />years, the city has fully subsidized the disposal of miscellaneous refuse items. Due to budget <br />constraints and to coordinate the fees with those charged by the city of Long Lake, it is <br />recommended that a fee of $3.00 per cubic yard be charged for disposal of miscellaneous refuse <br />items. <br />COUNCIL AC ITON REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the scheduling of the joint spring clean-up day on Saturday, May 6, and to <br />authorize a fee of $3.00 per cubic yard for miscellaneous refuse items.
