Request for Council Action continued
Page 4
March 9, 1995
#1997 Jon and Sally Lebedoff, 1101 Femdate Road West___________________________
Three of the five member Planning Commisnon found the proposal acceptable, noting
the reduction in the footprint from the original structure and the unique hardships of this
property based not only on the limited area but the impact of the lakeshore setback on both the
north and south. The footprint of the original structure was at 2,513.8 s.f. and the new structure
shall be 2,345 s.f. Review Exhibit U. Mr. Mitchell has responded to the minority opinions’
objection to the proposal.
The majority opinion of the Planning Commission approved the proposal subject to the
structure being moved 5’ further from the main lake and that additional gravel removals should
be made to the street side of the residence. Applicant shows a 65 s.f. reduction in the gravel
driveway area within the 0-75’ setback area of the lagoon and 86 s.f. reduction in the 75-250 ’
setback area.
Planning Commission Recommendation
Three of the five members in attendance voted to approve the application. The enclosed
approval resolution has been drafted per the findings and conditions of that approval
recommendation.
COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED:
To either adopt or amend the enclosed approval resolution.
