r <br />) <br />business hours in the boating season and provides at least the <br />following services to its patrons, nembers or the public: storage <br />of boats or watercraft, toilet facilities, boat repair service, <br />telephone and emergency towing. <br />c) "Limited Off-La<e Storage Areas" shall mean those <br />areas of the Lake on a map adopted and approved by resolution by <br />a majority vote of all the Board of Directors of the District and <br />on file in the offices of the District in which it has been <br />determined that either a) Lake use density exceeds one boat in <br />use for each twenty (20) acres of water at peak usage periods, or <br />e boats stored in the area areb) twenty percent or more of <br />customarily used in parts of the Lake where Lake use density <br />exceeds one boat in use for each twenty (20) acres of water <br />during peak usage periods. <br />J <br />Subd. 4. Special Requirements. Off-Lake Storage Facili <br />ties must meet, in addition to other Special Density and licens <br />ing requirements, the following conditions; <br />a) Limited Off-Lake Storage Areas. No facilities estab <br />lished after December 28, 1967, may be located in Limited Off-Lake <br />Storage Areas. <br />b) Density. No Off-Lake Storage Facility may be estab <br />lished in any location in which the Board determines that either <br />i) Lake use density exceeds one boat in use for each twenty (20) <br />acres of water at peak usage periods, or ii) twenty percent or <br />more of the boats stored at the proposed facility are likely to <br />be u ed in parts to the Lake where Lake use density exceeds one <br />boat in use for each twenty (20) acres of water during peak usage <br />periods. <br />c) Established Marinas. Off-Lake Storage Facilities may <br />only be established at Full Service Marinas. <br />d) Boat Storage Units. Facilities must include staging <br />docks for loading and unloading which provide storage space in a <br />ratio of at least one Boac Storage Unit on the water for each <br />three (3) Boat Storage Units of off-Lake storage. For each 60 <br />Boat Storage Units or part thereof of off-Lake storage, the <br />facility must have one launching ramp and one launching device. <br />e) Proximity of Storage Location. The storage rack <br />building must be on property contiguous to a full-service marina <br />and the lakeshore. <br />f) Frontage for Staging. Continuous lakeshore frontage <br />for Off-Lake Storage Facilities must be at least 10 feet for each <br />Boat Storage Unit at the facility whether stored on or off the <br />Lake.
