) <br />V <br />use areas subject to and in accordance with the provisions of <br />this section. The Board shall permit the establishment of such <br />moor-ng areas in only those limited instances in which necessary <br />to fulfill a public service and in which such mooring areas can <br />be established in such a manner as to preserve the use of the <br />waters of the Lake by the general public. <br />Subd. 2. License Required. Such mooring areas shall not <br />be established, used or maintained by any person unless a license <br />has first been obtained from the District Board. Once establish- <br />ed, all moorings at the facility .shall become part or the dis <br />trict mooring area. <br />Subd. 3. Application for License. An application for a <br />license for a district mooring area shall be filed with the <br />'’xecutive Director. The application shall be on a form prepared <br />bv the Executive Director. It shall state (a) the name an <br />address of the applicant, (b) the location of the area of the <br />Lake for which the license is sought, (c) the type of <br />be use bv the applicant, the number of moorings and the spaoing <br />of mo^’^s, (d) whether the mooring areas will be available for <br />use bv'-ne general oublic, and, if not, the manner in which the <br />use of moori^ncs wilf be restricted, (e) the person or persons who <br />will be responsible for operating the mooring area, (f) the <br />amount and type of public liability insurance which will be <br />maintained by the applicant for the <br />area and (g) any other procedures or regulation^ of v.he ap li <br />can^relating to the use of the mooring area. Such application <br />shall also be accompanied by a map showing the location ° ® <br />propped mooring area within the Lake and such ®^her information <br />as the Executive Director may require to assist th , , <br />consideration of the application.
