Klnsetocka in general. <br />4) Concerns over the compatibllty of the access In Proposal #1 with the <br />zoning ordinance and standards of the Cit/ of Orono. <br />Rationale and Benefits of Proposal #2: <br />1) Vill be a cooperative effort allowing all the parties to have <br />influence on the outcoaw. while ensuring progress towards Inproving <br />public access to Lake Hinnetonka. <br />2) Kay possibly result in aeeting Zone 1 parking goals called for <br />in the 1563 Lake Hinnetonka Task Force Report and the 1551 LKCD plan. <br />3> Kay result in creation of a multi-purpose site providing several <br />forsB of public recreation. <br />4) Vill allow for developsent coi^Tatible with the land use goals <br />expressed by the City and LKCD. <br />5) Creates a aechanisa to address the concerns mentioned above. <br />It is suggested that the LKCD lead and provide the framework for completion <br />of Parts 2 and 3 of this proposal. This is consistent with the LKCD’s role <br />as coordinator of public access issues described in the LKCD management <br />plan.
